This is right near my old apartment!

Legoland scouting Atlanta sites. →
Oooh this would be fantastic!
Note: the article reads “the attraction brings in kids ages 3 to 12.”

As I was taking this photo, a woman came up to me, shaking her finger at me, telling me I could be arrested for taking a picture like this “after 9/11.” So, hopefully this is worth the “gigantic risk” I took to take it.
I got the same response one time while trying to photograph inside a MARTA station in Atlanta.

This just happened! Excited!
I went ahead and chose Delta, believe it or not. Spirit just wasn’t living up to it’s former prices, and I felt like I needed to go on and book it.
New Year’s in the ATL/Passion/friends/GSU!
Can’t wait!

Flight options:
I’m going up to Atlanta around new year’s to do some things, like visit friends, schools, and Passion.
I can’t decide on flights:
- Spirit - usually I fly them, but they’ve slowly been increasing their prices and fees. If I wait, sometimes I can get a $9 flight (which is now $13 and with taxes comes to like $59 roundtrip or something like that). It’s always questionable when the deals come and how quickly they fill up or expire.
- Airtran - actually never flown with them. I just saw that they have wi-fi on all flights…right now I’m looking at $167.20.
- Delta - never fly them domestically unless I’m using miles or something. Internationally, they are usually the only option through one of their partners. But this time they are only a penny more than Airtran…$167.21.
I would also try Southwest, but they still don’t fly to Atlanta, and my last trip with them to Denver was not very nice.
Suggestions?

I feel like this really captures what happened with the flood last week. No cars and an earthworm. Completely irregular activity on the interstate.
agreed.

My new obsession is the Monopoly City Streets Game. It’s basically a very large scale game of Monopoly using Google Maps as the “board.” I have begun to build my Atlanta empire and you should too. But stay out of my way. I am capable of some cold-ass-shit.
Oh man! I think I will now be obsessed as well. Two of my favorite things: cities and Monopoly.
This will have to suffice after seeing the new Monopoly City Edition in the store the other day…

Holy crap! Stay safe and dry guys!

So yeah, it looks like Atlanta is pretty much underwater and has been for a while now.
I heard Kennesaw was evacuated today…crazy!
