Ahhhh! YES!
I am so happy right now.
The weather is amazing, though it is a little dark too soon.
And I just bought a cardigan sweater!
Now it’s time for class….blurgh…
Today will last forever.
So, I have a midterm in my Historic Preservation class this Wednesday. So far this class has been super interesting seeing that of the 5 classes we’ve had so far, we’ve gone on a field trip 3 of those. I’m not complaining about that. I love it!
However, the prof has not given us any direction for the exam this week. No format, coverage, anything. Also, it does not help that he has placed all of his presentations on some architecture server that only architecture students have access to.
At this point, I’m hoping for an essay or two so I can just write about stuff. ha
I have class. Yes, on a Friday. At least it is only one hour though.
It is my class that coincides with my internship.
The professor is having us bring in 30 copies of our résumé and 30 copies of our cover letter!
He will then look at each one individually for 15 seconds while the class follows along and place each one in either the YES, MAYBE, NO, or HELL NO! pile!
Not too worried seeing that my résumé has gotten me enough interviews and jobs before, right?
Should be interesting……..
Oh man! This website makes me laugh hysterically! You can add your own pictures and stories!!!
We talked about this in my urban community class tonight and I immediately had to check it on my phone. Needless to say, I LOLed in class…
Now I wish I knew where the closest Walmart to me was, so I could contribute to this! Though, it is nice not having one close to me…
You must look at some of these!
The Count Censored
This never gets old!!! I’m supposed to watch a Sesame Street clip about the Country Mouse and the City Mouse for my ‘Urban Community’ class.
I got sidetracked and remembered this and couldn’t resist!!!

This begins Monday.
Slim pickins, I know. And that one on Friday night…supposedly, we only meet a couple of times.

Headed to Melbourne, FL tomorrow for work. Should be a quick, fun road trip in the Prius with my boss.
I just hope we make it back with adequate time for me get ready to be the last group to present in the last class of the semester tomorrow night…At least we’ll have an excuse to make our presentation quick, because everyone either will have left already or be on their way out the door. :)

It’s the first of my last three classes for this summer! That means final exam tonight…booo.
Party after?

It’s raining. It’s time for class.
I was not any happier to leave work today for some reason. I guess it’s because it’s a holiday weekend, Julia’s getting in tonight right when I get out of class, tomorrow we’re going parasailing, and July 4th party Saturday!

Trying to plan what I want to see in Yellowstone next week. It is so big! It’s bigger than the Everglades!!
I should be writing a paper for class, but this is much more fun.

Thank God for breaks in the middle of 3 hour classes on the ninth floor at the perfect time for a view of the beautiful sunset in west.
Tonight we are presenting little charrette projects we did in groups last class. This was supposed to be little sketches or drawings about what we would plan in our case cities.
It’s a charrete!!! Other groups presenting have gone to Kinko’s and printed huge elaborate posters of designs that they spent upwards of $150 on! It’s a charette!!!
Also, some groups have created 15 minute powerpoint presentations as well when this is supposed to be like a 3 minute overview of ideas we came up with last week. Again, this is a freaking charrett
I think we need to go back and learn the purpose of a charrette! It’s now 10:00 and there are still 2 groups left. Class is supposed to end at 9:50.
/end in class rant via phone.
