i am landon.

lived in atlanta and long to return.
currently in fort lauderdale.
i'm a local government employee.
i tend to blog a lot about my three cities: jacksonvile, atlanta, and fort lauderdale and florida.
these are some of my friends:
culture, music, traveling, politics, public transportation, community, and jesus.

Since I'll be traveling quite a bit in the coming weeks, I'm going to make a good music playlist.

I would love some suggestions.

I have been on a new music kick lately, so I’m not going to let them get lost in my iTunes, but I would love some new stuff.

Got any?

Imogen Heap - Wait it Out

Imogen Heap and IAMX are basically all I’ve been listening to for about two weeks now.

Proof.

Break in!

I’m sitting at BREW during this stormy weather working on some applications.

The shop was broken into last night. Luckily the only things missing were the cash register and a window. Consequently, they are selling coffee on the honor system today.

I love Rick and his philosophy.

Also, current music is Telepopmusik - Breathe

NPR’s interview with Phoenix:

“…the band has found wider recognition, even being called “Rock’s Great French Hope” by Rolling Stone magazine after its latest effort, this year’s superb Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. The album has appeared on many critics’ best of the year lists, thanks in part to the singles “Lisztomania” and “1901,” which was featured in a recent Cadillac car commercial.”

Every time that commercial comes on the television, I usually stop what I’m doing and listen/dance/sing. Thank you Cadillac for appealing to good music listeners.
Also, I think NPR is obsessed with the band. They are being mentioned almost every time I listen.
